The third project

new week new project...i got to say ...while the last one is huge in term of space and more focus on the layout,planning and function of the site. this new one is a bit of the opposite. the chosen site is at bukit bendera penang. its been a long time since i been there. its very cool than here in USM. the temperature can reach 35 degree and above here down below while up there is nice at 28 degree during sunny day and can reach about 24 degree at night...aah~ so nice XD. we all stay at Nature Lodge. a old colonial methodist bungalow turn into a well a lodging. They have a replica of orang asli huts here near the entrace. it has great vista of georgetown below and you can see the penang bridge and KOMTAR from here. and at night its even better. owh on a clear day you can even see till Kedah. trully a nice place.

the 3rd project is dub as Nature Lodge : A cultural village and exhibition. and its more focus on preservation and improvement. 2 things will be preserve, the orang asli vilage near the entrance and the methodist bungalow. we can only add or extend the building. and the only new structure will be add is the exhibition center for the orang asli culture which when think about it, is very chalenging. How do you design a structure that has both colonial and vernacular influence?
